School Rules

General Information and Instructions:

  • The aim of the school is to give its pupils a sound education while paying special attention to their moral development. The authorities strive to motivate the pupils to aim for excellence in all what they undertake.
  • Parents and guardians are requested to co-operate with us by taking an interest in the progress of their wards. They are asked to check the pages on "Teacher Communication" regularly and write reasons on designated pages when the child is absent from school and / or furnish medical certificates for longer periods of sickness.
  • Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or conduct injurious to the general tone of the school are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a pupil.
  • No pupil will leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the school authorities.
  • No books, periodicals, pictures, newspapers or any other reading matter shall be brought into the class without the permission of the school authorities.
  • Every pupil is expected to subscribe from time to time a small amount towards school shows , religious functions and social work.
  • People are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. They are requested not to wear expensive jewellery, or carry such articles with them in school. The school will not hold any responsibility for the loss of any personal belongings of the pupils.
  • Pupils must not damage the property of the school. Any damage done, will be remedied at cost of the offender.
  • Students must not bring mobile or any electronic gadgets in the school and use them during travel by school bus. If found the same shall be confiscated.
  • Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children or interview teachers during school hours without the permission of the school authorities, as the members of the staff shall not leave the class rooms during the teaching period.
  • Addressing the superiors, the teachers, all staff members and helpers with due respect and politeness must be the motto of our children. They should also be gentle and courteous to their peers.
  • The management has the right to suspend attendance or request the withdrawal of any pupil without having to assign any reason , provided they are satisfied that such a step is necessary in the interest of the school.
  • Parents and guardians should not send any child to the school if he / she is unwell. He / she will not be allowed to attend any class or sit for any test.
  • Regular attendance is very essential for every student. Percentage of attendance will be taken into consideration while granting promotion or awarding prizes. Absence from school in order to study is strictly not allowed.
  • All students are expected to be in the school by 8 am. They will not be allowed to enter after 8.10 am.
  • No request for half day leave will be entertained and gate pass will not be issued. In case of emergency the Head Mistress or Principal may be approached for permission.
  • Parents and guardians are requested to be punctual in collecting their children from the school. School authorities will not be responsible for the students left behind more than half an hour after the closure of the school.
  • Each child returning on his / her own must bring a letter from his / her parents or guardians informing the school how he / she will go. Any change in the manner of going should be informed to the school. No child will be allowed to go home until the identity card is produced by the escorts.
  • Any change in the residential / business address and phone number must be intimated to the school in writing at the earliest.
  • In the beginning of the year, no child should remain absent without written information to the school. If a child is to be absent for more than two days, guardians must take permission in person.
  • Every student must possess the school diary and identity card which should be brought to school daily. Specimen signature, guardian's ,address , telephone number and blood group of the student must be noted in the diary and the same must be checked and signed by the parents.
  • Tin and aluminum boxes are not allowed in the school. All boxes and water bottles must be labelled.
  • School teachers are not allowed to be engaged in private tuitions at home.
  • Enrolment in the school implies, on the part of the pupil and parents, willingness to comply with the rules and regulations of the school.
  • Application for Transfer Certificate can be made one month in advance and the fees for the full quarter would have to be paid. The Transfer Certificate would be issued at the cost of Rs 200/- only.
  • Student who violate the student code of conduct shall be subject to disciplinary action.

  • Note to Parents

  • It would help the school greatly if the parents could ensure that:
  • All children be sent to school regularly and punctually in neat and tidy uniforms.
  • A letter stating the reasons be sent if the child comes to school in irregular uniform.
  • Boys and girls be properly groomed; boys with a proper haircut and girls with hair either plaited ( if long) or tied up. Only red ribbons or bands may be used in case of girls. Trinkets, tattoos, heena, nail paint , ear stud (boys) , long beard (boys) is strictly not allowed.
  • The pupil's diary be regularly checked for any message / note from teachers and for any circular issued by the school. A column has been provided in the diary for acknowledgement of the same by the parents.
  • The pupil's books be periodically checked / glanced to know about their performance. Signature of parents be put up where asked by the teachers.
