Visit to Maligaon RailwayCo-operative Store
Class II was taken for a hands on experience of shopping to the Railway Co operative Store. It was in relation to their lesson of Mathematics - " Money ". Chidren were allowed to take only Rs 200 and shop items of use by the entire family. They enjoyed the entire process of choosing the item, checking the manufacturing and expiry dates., calculating keeping in mind that they had only a limited amount. Back at school they were told how to check the price in the items and in the bill,calculate the whole amount and amount left with them.
It was an enormous learning experience for the children.
