With the aim to sensitise the young children about the declining population of one horned rhino, 'RHINO FEST, 2019' was organised at Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti. Mr. Jadav Payeng, the Forest Man of India was invited to grace the occasion. Mr. Payeng threw light on many crucial aspects of conservation of Rhino and it's habitats. Children had the opportunity to interact with him and were inspired to work for the environment. This was followed by several inter house competitions such as mug painting, ceramic plate painting, t-shirt painting, slogan writing, model making and creating a jingle. These competitions were held to encourage the students to express their concern about this burning issue.
