Sarala Birla gyan Jyoti hosted its Alumni Meet on 23rd December, 2019 at the school premises. 91 alumni came together at their alma mater for this meet. The meet began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a commemoration for the departed alumni. After the welcome speech, the school band led by Hrittim Chelleng, Aditya Raj Bhattasharyya and Anurag Sugandhi put up a brilliant performance for the esteemed guests of the day. After the teacher's and Principal's speech, 100% attendance award for 9 consecutive year was presented to BANSURI PODDAR (2018 batch) and the group photograph was taken. The second half of the meet began after lunch. The teachers put up a beautiful musical programme which was loved by the alumni and they too join in. Towards the end of the event, the alumni committee was formed and mementos were gifted to the alumni. All the alumni had a great time and it was a day spent wonderfully.
