INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2021
The virtual Investiture Ceremony of Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati was held on the 26th June, 2021, Saturday. The newly elected School Cabinet was formed and sworn in.
Eminent National awardee educationist and the erstwhile Principal of Army Public School, Mrs Prabha Dastidar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She congratulated the newly appointed cabinet members and enlightened them with her inspiring speech.
Ms. Prija Goswami, the Student Advisor of London School of Economics and an alumna of Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati, was the Guest of Honour. Ms. Goswami emphasied on the importance of noble and fearless leadership.
The Oath Taking Ceremony was led by the Principal, Dr. Diganta Halder. He congratulated the Council members and reiterated the crucial role of the School Cabinet in maintaining a conducive environment in school. The parents of the Headgirl and the Headboy also addressed the august gathering.
The event commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp Ceremony. The occasion witnessed a wide range of cultural programmes performed by the students of the school. The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
