Learning a Foreign language is an asset in today’s world. It has become a key to growth and understanding this globally diverse domain. The Department of French Language, Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati, organised a virtual programme, Un jour en France, on 21st August, 2021. Dr. Pronobesh Ranjan Chakraborty graced the occasion with his presence.
The programme provided the spectators a virtual tour of France, giving an insight into the various things that France is famous for. Travelling around different regions of France, the students dove deep in the world of scrumptious French cheese or fromage, delectable French wine, flamboyant monuments from the 16th century, world- famous French fashion and the list goes on. The students also provided a glimpse on the tragedy as well as rise-to-fame and glory of the French saint, Jean D’arc.
