It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.
Sandarbh- the debating club of Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati organised an Interschool Debate Competition, Duels of Doubts on 5th and 6th of February, 2022. The debate competition witnessed a participation of nine schools. The competition started with the qualifying rounds for each school to reach the semi finals. Four schools made it to the semi finals and the esteemed judges for the semi finals were Dr. Mitali Goswami and Dr. Pallavi Mukherjee.
Among the four schools, Birla Vidya Niketan, Delhi and Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati qualified for the finals. Honorable Education Minister of Assam, Dr. Ranoj Pegu was invited as the chief guest to grace the occasion. The judges for the finals were Professor Ankita Sinha and Sumitra Ray of Times Network.
The Principal, Dr. Diganta Halder thanked honorable Education Minister and the judges and congratulated the participants for their extraordinary oratory skills and presentation.
