The Department of Hindi, Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati, conducted an Inter School Hindi Literary Fest on Monday, 5th August, 2022, to encourage budding literary talent among the students of Guwahati. The event aimed to provide an opportunity to students to showcase their literary skills, interact and learn with peers from other institutions, and offer a reward far greater than just the winning prize.
The Department conducted exciting activities such as Doha Vachan, Recitation, Bhajan, Declamation etc. Among the participants were schools including Royal Global School, Shemford Futuristic School, Sanskriti - The Gurukul, Modern High School and Don Bosco School, Panbazar.
The best school award went to the host school, Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati.
The successful completion of the Fest was attributed to the driving force of the ever supportive and dynamic Principal, Dr Diganta Halder, the members of the Department, who ensured that students took active part in the Fest and make it a success, and other school staff.
