Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti celebrated the World Environment Day
on Friday with a plantation drive by the students of Class IV and V.
Understanding the responsibility to make the young students aware about the environmental issues of today, Shristi
Club organized a myriad of events across the school to commemorate the occasion.
The students from class I to XII participated in events like colouring,
drawing, essay writing, photography, street play etc. Mountaineer Henry David
had an interactive session with the students and encouraged the students to work
hard for the preservation of the environment.
