As per guidelines from Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India, Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati celebrated ‘Children Sports Festival’ under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in the month of April, 2023.
Children Sports Festival was organised for three days, from 25th to 28th of April 2023.
The sports events were conducted under the able guidance of Principal, Dr. Diganta Halder and the ever enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Department. Events organized were :
a. Outdoor Games: Football, Dodge Ball, Badminton and
Basketball.
b. Indoor Games: Board Games (chess)
Different sports portals such as Fit India Portal, National Sports Repository
System (NSRS) of Sports Authority of India (SAI) was popularized during the
Children Sports Festival with the usage of Logo and Banner.
