On November 28, students from Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati, accompanied by teacher Ms. Indrani Roy, participated in the 2nd Edition of R-Iviera: A Cultural Confluence, hosted by Indore Public School under AFS India.
The seven-day domestic exchange offered activities like horse riding, rifle shooting, art workshops, and the Malwa dance. Students explored Indore’s cultural heritage, visiting Maheshwar Fort, the silk industry, Sahastradhara, and Chappan market.
The programme ended with Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti students performing Assamese Bhor Tal dance and a Tai song, encouraging intercultural understanding and leaving them with cherished memories of Malwa traditions and hospitality.
