With the vision of a comprehensive experience of astronomical science, to initiate the meaning of science and technology in students and in order to equip them with knowledge and confidence, a Space Investigators Workshop was organized at Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti on 4th August which was executed by Mr. Sarvesh K. Bharadwaj, an astrophysicist . He is a member of ASAC, NASA, USA. The workshop was attended by about 200 students from class I to class XII. The main features of the workshop were - Make a Aryabhatta Satellite, fun with solar system, fun with rockets, making of Sundial, introduction to astronomy, Quiz. There were attractive prizes for the Quiz such as Sunscope, pinhole camera, SDRO T -Shirts. All the students were busy throughout and the workshop ended with the launching of air pressure rocket. It ended with a hope of having such workshops in the near future.
